Trip: Dubai 30X30 Fitness Challange Hatta Morning Hike – Free

Difficulty Level: Options for Beginner & Intermediate Levels Trail
Trip Details: Hiking trail is a well established trail developed and maintained by Hatta Hub. Total distance of the trail is about 7 KM and has two sections:
1. First section is for beginners and is about 2.5 km one way. It is mostly level walk without any elevation gain and passes through greenery and along the natural water channel reaching upto a Dam. At the end of this section, we would give an option to participants to turn back, or continue on the second section which is Intermediate level and starts climbing toward big HATTA sign.
2. Second section which is Intermediate level starts climbing on the hatta hills for about 2 Kms gaining elevation of about 250 meters reaching big HATTA sign. Participants take a break there, take pictures and enjoy the views. The trail then descends and reaches back to the starting point in about 2.5 Km.

Requirements and Preparation for each participant:
1. At least 2 liters of water, some fruits/nuts/snacks/energy bars.
2. Full sleeved top, full hiking pants are always recommended.
3. Sun protection such as Sun hat, Head cover, Sunscreen are strongly recommended.
4. Hiking boots and hiking pole/stick are recommended.
5. A small backpack to carry water and snacks.

Plan: · Leave Dubai early monring and reach the meeting point by 6.30 AM . Park the cars at the meeting point and start the hike at 7.00 AM after a brief by our hike leaders · Hike is expected to take about 3.00 hours and we reach back to the cars by 10.00 AM or so and drive back home.

Contribution: This is a FREE event as a part of our commitment to Dubai 30X30 Fitness Challenge.

Transportation: Your own transportation. Any type of car is suitable to reach the hike start point.

Inclusions: Overall lead, guidance, support and directions for the event, including for hike

Exclusions:

1. Food and drinks for the event – its a self catering event
2. Transportation, it’s a self driving event.
3. Any other gear or equipment.
