TERRAIN: Sand

ACCESS: Sedan cars shall be parked some distance away before and participant can walk to the camping. we can however help in ferrying their camping gear to reach the camp spot.

PLAN:
Reach meeting point by 1700 hrs so that we can all reach the camp spot and settle down before sun set.

if there’s sufficient interest, we can do a few hours of dune bashing in the morning, before we wind up our camp. You would however require a well maintained 4×4 offraoders for this purpose.

MEETING POINT: Dubai sands some 45 minutes away from Dubai, exact Map pointer shall be given a day before the event.

WHAT TO BRING :

• Headlamp/hand torch (Mandatory);
• camping chairs and mats for each member of your team;
• one folding camping table for each car;
• all required camping gear, do remember to pack some warm jacket and blanket;
• Full Sleeved Shirt/Top, Full Pants/Trousers, preferably bright colours;
• a warm jacket/fleece;
• Cap / hat / scarf;
• all food and beverages for the duration of the event. bring sufficient food of your choice for your family and some extra to share with others;
• wash water, hand sanitiser, wet wipes, soap/hand sanitiser;
• sunscreen, pocket knife, face mask;
• one pack of firewood per car;
• Avoid single-use disposable plastic of any type to care for the environment. Please carry reusable crockery and cutlery;
• First aid kit with your basic medicaiton.

We follow a strict no-littering policy, so kindly bring a big trash bag with you and carry the filled one back when you leave the camp spot.

All registering for the event should complete the following (formats available at the above referred google drive) and forward the same along with a copy of your valid passport or Emirates ID to “AdventureEmarat@gmail.com”, unless already done:

a. AE – Member Declaration and Indemnity v4 2020 01.pdf;

b. AE – Member Key Info form v2 2018 01.xlsx – please send the excel sheet itself without converting it to pdf or any other format

These forms are one-time membership requirement and are required in respect of every participant attending any AE event. You don’t need to resubmit these, unless an update is required.
